Our Response to Covid-19
The Current Situation at Kinning Park Chuch
Due to the present Coronavirus outbreak the Church of Scotland has had to make the decision that all Church Services are cancelled with immediate effect until further notice.
In light of this there will be no Sunday Services at Kinning Park Parish Church during this period and the Church building is now closed.
Anyone requiring pastoral help or support during this time please contact the Minister, the Rev Marnie Johnston, who will be glad to help. (telephone 0141 – 810 – 3782)
Thank you for your understanding.
Some Encouragement at This Time
“The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not be in want.
He makes me lie down in green pastures, He leads me beside quiet waters.
He restores my soul.
He guides me in the paths of righteousness for His name’s sake.
Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for You are with me.
Your rod and staff, they comfort me.
Surely goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.” (Psalm 23, verses 1 – 4, 6)
We pray for each other
Lord Jesus,
You teach us to love our neighbours as we love ourselves. During this time may we be wise in what we do and caring to one another. May the sick be cared for, the vulnerable be supported, those who
are anxious find calm, the lonely and isolated know friendship. Above all remind us of Your promise, "I am with you always".
In Your Name we pray,
Amen
We pray together
The Lord's Prayer - Our Father, Who art in Heaven, hallowed be Thy Name. Thy kingdom come, Thy Will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. Forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors. Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, the power and the glory, For ever and ever, Amen.
